Change DNS Settings
Overview:
Changing
DNS settings in Windows 11 involves opening Settings from the Start menu (Windows + I), then navigating to Network & Internet and selecting Wi-Fi or Ethernet, depending on your connection.
You then edit the DNS
server assignment for your active connection, choose Manual, and enter your
preferred DNS server addresses, such as Google or Cloudflare.
Saving your new
settings applies to the change, and while a system restart isn’t required,
reconnecting to your network can help activate the update.
