To schedule a Teams meeting, log in to Teams and navigate to the Calendar icon. Click "New meeting," add a title, attendees, and optionally select a channel. Set the date, time, and recurrence if needed. Use the scheduling assistant to check availability.
Once details are entered, click "Send" to schedule the meeting, which appears on your calendar and syncs with Outlook. Access meeting options from the invite to adjust settings such as lobby bypass and presenter permissions. Save changes and close the meeting window when finished.
To schedule a recurring Teams meeting in Outlook, open the calendar and select “New Teams Meeting.” Add student emails, set the subject and meeting times, and use the Recurrence feature to schedule recurring meetings.
Adjust meeting options to control who can bypass the lobby and who can present, with default settings allowing anyone in your organization to bypass and all attendees to present. Save your settings and send the invitation to students. You can update these options at any time in the meeting invitation.
To schedule a Teams meeting using the Office Web Application, log in to your Rowan-Cabarrus Community College email and access the calendar. Create a new event, enter the meeting details, and set repeating options if needed. Generate a Teams meeting link, add a message, and send the invitation to students.
Adjust meeting options so students can bypass the lobby if desired, and control who can present during the meeting. Save your changes, and the meeting will appear on your calendar. You can update settings at any time by reopening the event.
