Information Services Purchasing and Requests


Technology Purchasing:

As technology continues to evolve rapidly, Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is witnessing an unprecedented surge in demand for technology and tech-related services. As more faculty, staff, and students become proficient in their use, the costs of acquiring, supporting, and maintaining these technologies have also escalated.

To better serve Rowan-Cabarrus, Information Services has created a standard equipment list. By standardizing our technology purchases, Information Services can efficiently acquire, support, and service technology across all campuses.

Purchasing Requests:

If you need to purchase equipment that isn't listed on our standard equipment list or included in the new employee setup, please submit a purchase request by creating a ticket in Jitbit under the Purchasing/Purchasing Requisition category. 

Once we obtain a quote for the requested items, the Information Service Procurement Team will contact you for approval and request a GL code. This authorization will allow Information Services to proceed with the purchase on your behalf. 

Please ensure all details are accurate to avoid delays in processing your request.
