Pharos Cloud Print:

Pharos Cloud Print, our new print management software, is designed for ease of use. It supports BYOD printing, improves efficiency, and provides enhanced security for students and employees. It lets you print from a connected device by sending print jobs to a network printer via the cloud. Rowan-Cabarrus offers employees and students access to copiers and printers at all our campus locations. 

Employees:

Employees can print using the print application on their college laptop or desktop, a college instructor's computer, a mobile device app, or the Rowan-Cabarrus Portal. Employees will need to activate their Pharos account first. 

During this process, you will be assigned a passcode. It is important to save this passcode, as you will use it to retrieve the documents you send to the printer. You can also securely scan documents to your Email or OneDrive and utilize the copy functions to make copies. 

Students: 

Students can print using the print application on a college student computer or the Rowan-Cabarrus Portal. Students who print using the portal will be directed to log in to their Rowan-Cabarrus email account. They may be prompted to verify access to their account using MFA. 

Once logged into the portal, they will be directed to generate a passcode. They need to save this passcode, as they will use it to retrieve the documents they send to the printer. Once they upload a document they want to print, they can go to the printer and enter the passcode to retrieve it.
